At Penncorp, we recognize the importance of supporting charitable programs which help families living in our community. Reaching out to those who need a helping hand is a natural part of being a good corporate citizen.
Recently Penncorp completed a 6 week fundraising campaign in support of Foodpath, a Mississauga area based volunteer driven organization.
Foodpath collects and distributes over 200,000 kilograms, (450,000 pounds), of food, through its food bank/distribution program each month. Foodpath collects and distributes food and household goods to over 5,500 Mississauga residents each month, of which 50% are children. Through its distribution program food orders are provided weekly to forty-two food related programs in Peel, Halton, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, and the GTA. These include Breakfast Clubs, Healthy Start Prenatal programs, other food banks, soup kitchens, abuse shelters, a drug/alcohol rehab program and homeless shelters.
Penncorp is proud to support Foodpath and other organizations who help those in need.
